Any 30FS owners out there?

I bought one recently and lovin' it so far. It's my big gun. My 19's feel like toys after handling the 30! Only have 150 rounds through itso far but, all is working fine. Super accurate. Still holster shopping and have not decided on leather my (ATF) or Kydex. I usually carry IWB, hoping I can with the 30 too (a little thick). Anyways, would really like to hear about yours.. Holsters, carry rounds, groups, likes/dislikes. You know, the good, the bad, & the ugly on the 30FS. Thanks.

Congrats! The 30SF is my favorite Glock. It's a pleasure to shoot and eats any kind of ammo I feed her...Georgia Arms reloads, Federal FMJ, Speer Lawman TMJ, and for SD 185 gr. Speer Gold Dots. Yes, she is not as thin as the G36, but she has less recoil and more capacity. For the last year, I've only used her as my night stand gun with a 13-round mag, but I am going to start carrying her since I can have more cover garments in cold weather. I've ordered a custom leather holster that can be used IWB or OWB. Really, I have no dislikes. She is perfect just the way she is. :D
Ok, here she is..

where's glocky?
My buddy gave me the stippled mag base from a a 30 he had Robar work on and then sold. Gives just a tad more grip to hold onto the big ole' pistola.

Thanks. No, never fired a 29. Shot a lot of Glocks, mostly 9mm's, 45's and a few 40's.
Ok on "GLOCKY". I know on some other forums you have to post a pic. I guess it's a ritual.

you'd like the G29 too, same frame as the G30. it's like shooting a G30 on that's on PCP lol
I have a 30sf very nice pistol
Actually, the only thing I noticed different on the 30FS compared to any other Glocks I have ever owned is that the recoil guide does not want to seat properly. I notice that, when I field strip it, the end of the guide at the barrel is up high and out of place and is getting caught up when I'm trying to remove the slide. But, it goes back together and works fine. So I don't know? Also, the front of the guide rod putrudes a little at the muzzle end. Looks a little weird but..? My 19's field strip and reasemble like butter and don't have any of these issues. Anydody else experiencing this?
Yeah, that is not uncommon with any of the sub compacts either.

Darn I cannot type or spell today for some reason geesh

i have the same issue on my 30, not an sf.

Ok. I checked my buddy's 26 today, same issue. Not as bad as my 30 but, he has a lot more rounds through that gun. His isn't getting hung-up when field stripping though. Maybe it gets a little better with time? I'm not gonna worry about it too much. Guns work fine. Small price to pay for the awesome design of the sub compacts.

the 30 is the only one of the others, 19, 22, 23, 27 that i have the problem with.
Thankfully, I've got a good one and love it. About a thousand rounds thru it so far and she hasn't missed a beat. Gets about a hundred or so rounds almost every weekend and makes me smile after every mag. Of the different handguns that I normally take to the range, she's my favorite.

Yes.They shoot real nice. Funny how even the non-Glock crowd likes that particular model. Eleven rounds of .45 in a package that light and relatively small considering.. is quite impressive to say the least.
I love my G30 and my G29SF.I use a Theis IWB holster and my Glocks conceal really well. They only cost about $50 shipped.
