We're pleased to announce that we have launched a new smartphone view on the site. It has been designed to have a clean look, to fit really nicely into mobile (iPhone, Android) browsers, and unlike most normal web based skins will also include features that are normally reserved for desktop or phone applications. We built this as we realize you all spend more time today on your phones on the forum than you did 2 years ago, and we want to get the mobile view to a place where you can do everything (and more!) that you can do on desktop.

A few notes as I know many of you may have questions:

* This does not replace any mobile apps. This is web only - accessing via your phone browser.
* This new skin will only show when you access the site from a modern (Android 4+, iPhone) phone. It will not show for older phones or for tablets, blackberries or windows phones.
* Please give us some time as we work through bugs. Give it a try, give us feedback in our mobile thread URL, and give it a chance. Every change needs time to get used to!

If you visit the site from your mobile phone, you'll get the new view automatically. You can login, post, reply, upload photos, view your private messages and more. You can also use the legacy mobile view by choosing the top left menu and Exit Enhanced Mobile Mode.

This is the feedback thread for any bugs, etc, please post below.

**Please let us know the device, software version, and browser being used if reporting any issues.

Thanks!

I like the concept. Having said, it was difficult to find where to select the next page on multiple pages as there were so many advertisements between the post and the next page icon. I realize that advertising is probably paying for the app ... but I'm now on my desktop because it's much easier to read ... i.e. no advertisements within the body of a thread. However convenient, for me it's too cluttered on my Samsung 5 android phone.

I couldn't see how to do a capture, but was able to save images of the ads. This morning there were only two:

I couldn't see how to do a capture,
I believe most phones use the power and volume buttons, I am on lollypop and it is the power button and volume up button, press them both at the same time and hold until it captures.

I guess I have too many projects and need to schedule time to fully research my cell phone's features! LOL I did a search online and found out that my phone does have a built-in feature for this very thing. If the feature is enabled, all you do is a "palm sweep" and it captures the image and stores it in a folder named, "Screen Captures". Sheesh ... and I read the instructions on things I buy. Anyway ... thanks for the help/prodding ... maybe this will help others.

[Sent from my desktop network ... which may be big, bulky and lower tech ... certainly has a much bigger keyboard!]

I think I switched back to the standard site config, by accident. Tried to get back into the mobile site using "m.glock.pro" or "mobile.glock.pro". How do I switch over?

BTW, thanks for doing this. Looks promising so far.
