Can you post pics of the slides next to each other for comparison ?
17 slide assembly
Got a after market 17 style slide and a parts kit. Got it all together and doing safety checks. When I pull the trigger safety it drops the firing pin. I havent fire it yet just doing the checks. Any Ideas? I dont have any one close to take it to and being rather old I am just trying to get this together. I know its not in the frame as I can put the old slide on and its ok.

Saw this thread on another forum. The aftermarket slide is out of speck. All of his internals in a Glock slide work fine, the original slide works fine. The original Glock parts in the aftermarket slide fail.
I think the mfg was RockSlide. He researched them and found many issues/complaints.
